Meghann Bartow grew up Decorah, Iowa, surrounded by the rolling bluffs of the Driftless Area. Her early fascination with handcrafted goods blossomed during summers spent at the local artisan fairs. Meghann attended Luther College, where she studied Art History and Studio Art, honing her appreciation for ceramics and pottery traditions from around the world. After graduation, she worked with independent ceramicists in Asheville, North Carolina, helping them build their online presence while deepening her knowledge of clay techniques and kiln firing. She later spent several years as a content strategist for niche arts websites, blending her artistic sensibilities with her sharp editorial skills. Now as the editor of Pottery Vibes, Meghann channels her passion for pottery into curating engaging content for pottery enthusiasts, from novice hobbyists to seasoned ceramic artists.
