Anthony Sonnenberg, a creative force born in 1986 in Graham, Texas, is known for his versatile artistry that spans ceramic sculptures and dynamic performances.
His journey in the art world began with a Bachelor’s degree, emphasizing Italian studies and Art History, which he completed in 2009.
Three years later, he pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he cultivated his unique approach to art.
Today, Sonnenberg creates his works in the lively atmosphere of Fayetteville, Arkansas, drawing inspiration from his surroundings.
Exhibitions and Notable Achievements
His artwork has been widely celebrated, gaining exposure through various notable exhibitions.
Among these are the acclaimed “State of the Art II” at the Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas, in 2020, and “I’m Going to Dance the Way I Feel” at the Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami, Florida, the following year.
Sonnenberg’s reputation further soared with participation in “Ceramics Now” at Galerie Italienne in Paris in 2021.
